What's for breakfast?

Have you ever been to Toa Payoh Lor 8 hawker centre?

There's this really good noodle stall that sells Mee Hoon Kway and Sheng Mian (aka Qi mee in Hokkien), facing the main road. From the time i found seats for my parents to the time we finished the breakfast, the queue was never ending.

Stall: Seletar Sheng Mian, Mee Hoon Kway, closes every wed and thurs and opens as early as 630am. Qi Mee is selling at $2.50 / $3 per bowl.
Ingredients: Noodles, egg, pork slices, minced pork, 2 prawns, veg, ikan bilis, pork oil and fried onion

I must say that this food will soon be extinct because you can hardly find it anywhere else today (i only know of 2 places that sells Qi Mee, one of which is this, and another stall at Bedok). Younger generations opt not to take over the business and so, when the old can no longer work, the stall will eventually close.

This dish will soon be forgotten. If you ever have the chance, remember to give this dish a shot!
