NATO AGM

2 friends return from overseas and so, we had a major catch up at Holland Village (decided to venture into the west instead of sticking to the east or the central). It was my first time entering the area and it very much reminded me of Clarke quay. Beers, Caucasians, food, ice cream, chattering, lightings etc

Made a reservation at Cha Cha Cha Mexican Restaurant for a table of 15 (3 friends couldn't turn up, so it was only 12 of us) at 7pm and we were given the outdoor seating. Getting the attention of the waiters were a lil difficult but service was alright, whatever was requested was given promptly. We ordered several main dishes and i guess all tasted good? Wasn't like a woah woah woah! kinda good but good.

This is the Enchiladas de Pollo $14. Basically it's shredded chicken in corn tortillas w cheese and some mexican sauce. Chicken was really juicy but the portion could be a lil bigger cause my friend, was still looking through the desserts menu. Then again, she's a big eater.
Cha Cha Cha Combination
$16 for beef, $18 for prawns & 418.50 for crabmeat. There's mash, rice and beef w cheese.

Burritos $16 with a choice of shredded chicken/beef or ground beef. There's also mexican rice inside so this is really filling. Comes w mash, sour cream and guaccamole. This is pretty filling but in the group of 4 or 5 who ordered burritos, only 1 was a guy.
This is the Prawns burritos $18. Lots of prawns chunk and the rice was moist (probably due to the amount of cheese in it and tomatoes). Didn't like e mash because it was made up or baked beans or so, it tasted. I didn't eat my burritos with the given sauce because it tasted really good on its own.
Pollo al Chipotle $17. Consisting of pan fried chicken breast seasoned in a smoky chipotle chilli, served with veg & rice. Tried a lil bit of the chicken breast, wasn't too dry and was pretty tasty! whets the appetite. (:
Cerdo con Salsa Verde $18.50. This was their pork stew that was served differently (unlike every other dishes, in plates). The was 3 flour tortillas to go along with the stew. Didn't give it a try but my friend who had this dish didn't said anything like it was terrible or inedible.

Overall, Cha Cha Cha Mexican restaurant has affordable mexican dishes but i'll probably not head back there anytime soon unless, i have the cravings for the prawns burritos.

Haagen Daz @ Holland Village
Choose Haagen Daz since it was nearby Cha Cha Cha. We were given this area of the place and though choices of ice cream was limited, everyone had an ice cream on their hand, or at least, some shared! (:
I wonder if it's just Holland V's outlet that has limited yet atas looking ice cream selection or it's consistent with the others... hmmmm.
 And a group shot!
