I eat Noodles 4 days a week.

Here's a list of my favourite noodle stalls:

Who can ever ever resist the famous Katong Laksa?

Serangoon Gardens, Chomp Chomp famous Hokkien Mee Stall (at the back of where the umbrella seatings are). There is always at least a half an hour wait even on a weekday.

This Lor Mee stall at Kovan/ Lorong Ah Soo only opens at 11am onwards! And, as usual, there will be a queue.
$2.50 or $3. $2.50 is alrdy quite filling. Love the pork meat and the gravy is sooooo shiok!

Tanjong Pagar PSA Complex, Amoy st Prawn Mee. Always long long long queue during lunch hour. The pork rib is so soft and tender! Soup based is oh-lala. I always finish up the soup and it's so lips smacking good! :D
Putien's Lor Mee. There's like tons of ingredients in there. Clams, Pork belly, veg, onions, prawns, mushroom etc. Sharing a bowl for 2 is definitely more than enough! probably each inidividual can have about 4 - 5 helpings? That's really alot. Oh, and their chilli sauce goes really well with this dish too, for those who can't live without chilli. But the taste of the lor mee itself is alrdy very flavourful!

This place was recommended by my bf who claims that the 'coffeeshop' is almost always full hse. It's located at Blk 134 Geylang East Ave 1 #01-217, Hong Qin Fish & Duck Porridge. They also serve kway chap side dishes but not the kway chap!
So this is their take away fish slice noodle. Fish slices were fresh (no fishy smell) and the soup was sweet. Makes you feel healthy!

Saizeriya's Spaghetti with clams in tomato base is soooooo i can eat it forever! Taste the clam sweetness in this dish and there's a certain Woah whenever i have this.

Century Sq's food court at the Formosa Stall, sells this chinese noodle thing called Dao Xiao Mian. The price is a lil expensive for a food court dish but i guess you're paying for the making of dough, slicing of the noodle, requires lots of hands on on the chef. Comes in chicken, beef or pork. Really filling and whenever i have cravings for a slurpy noodle with tons of soup, i'll go for this! (:

GIant's (Tampiness) food court, Dumpling Noodle Dry. Noodle texture is like a thinner version of ban mian and the dumplings are huge with servings of 4 - 5. The sauce to mix the noodle is really good. Can never have enough of this. Going to Giant? Try this before going for your grocery shopping!

Another famous stall, Fei Fei Wanton Mee @ Joo Chiat. Actually it's my mum's favourite but i've also found to prefer this than to Pon Tian because, Fei fei's noodle texture is more to my liking. And, being a chilli lover (i add chilli to everything!), this noodle is the only exception that i do not add chilli sauce to it. In fact, i'll just have it dry with lots of tomato sauce! You can even request for soup after wiping the bowl clean with your tongue! hahahaha.

Another Saizeriya's favourite. Al Funhgi spaghetti in cream sauce. I'm usually not a big fan of cream based spaghetti (but i am a huge fan of spaghetti) because it usually get's 'jelak' after awhile. However, this spaghetti is not at all 'jelak'. It is so mouth watering and delicious that I eventually didn't want to swap this with the bf when agreed earlier on. Goes to show how nice it is!

Papaya Noodle soup with a choice of fried chicken or pork or seafood at Changi Point Shopping Mall @ Expo station. Never tried papaya soup before until my dad ordered this at our first visit to the mall and boy, i fell in love with it almost instantly! Since then, whenever I'm at Expo, I willl never give this a miss. Sometimes, i even make my way down just to eat this! Not only is there papaya in the soup, there's veg, corn, button mushroom, tofu etc, Relatively healthy with the exception of the milk. But think about it, without the milk, it ain't papaya soup!

Ding Tai Fung's Pork Chop Noodle. I seldom take yellow noodle except for a few stall, as you can see in all my noodle pictures, it's always the white or spaghetti. Hardly the chinese yellow noodle because I don't like the after taste of it. Ding Tai fung's pork shop is soooo tender and delicious, it actually blends well with the noodle in the soup (less tasty and flavourful). Give it try if you're always eating their prawn fried rice! Have a change ya?

Okay, I just had this yesterday after gym at Tamp Mall's Kopitiam, Taiwan Cuisine stall. There have about 17 variety? From rice to noodles. Of course, i choose this dish, no. 13 for $4.50 - Taiwan Mini Sausage with QQ Noodles (spicy). Noodles is definitely QQ to the max. Love the chewy texture and they give lots of veg! LIKES! Oh, and half an egg. There's also minced meat in the bowl. One of the Must-Try!

My final favourite noodle stall is located at Old Army Market, Fish sliced Mee Sua. When I was doing my internship, I frequent the hawker centre like it's my second home and this dish was close to being my mother. I eat this every single day of my 3 month internship (ok, i exaggerate! tried out other dishes too, but i swear it was only like 5 times?) till the auntie could recognise me. Even now when i still occasionally head back just to have this pipping hot bowl of fish slice mee sua, we still exchange smiles. There is also a queue during lunch hour. Definitely worth the wait.

Okay, my stomach is rambling alrdy! Goodbye and have a nice midweek!
